Why don’t my photos show up on my PS3 when I connect my USB travel drive?

I have a travel drive with pictures on it and they show up on my computer but when I plug it in it recognizes the drive but says there are no images.

The exact same thing happens to me. If I plug my camera directly into the PS3 it works fine, but if I have the same images on removable memory, it won’t work,
